About Everest

Khumbu is the local name for one of the most famous trekking regions in the world. It is the home of the World's tallest mountain- Mount Everest and the native homeland of the Sherpa people, situated in the northeast part of Nepal.

As well as being scenic and spectacular, a visit to the Everest region allows you to enjoy passing through some very old villages, and a chance to meet the friendly Sherpa people.
